An Alky Control progressive methanol-injection kit was added to a 2007 Ford Mustang GT to protect against detonation at high boost levels on pump gas. The result was 520 hp and 480 lb-ft at the wheels with 17 psi of boost.
A 2011 Camaro SS was upgraded with a massive front-mount intercooler and an Alky Control methanol injection kit to ensure that all that pressurized air has a chance to cool down before hitting the intake.
